REVIEW ON PRESENT TURMOIL :: 07-07-2011, THURSDAY : VASAVI, HYDERABAD

At 11.30 AM:
Homage and floral tributes to late Prof. JAYASHANKAR ji.

Session commenced by Shri G. Niranjan, Organizer, TCMG.

Presided over by Rapolu Ananda Bhaskar

Present:
Shri M. Satyanarayana Rao, Shri K.V.Keshavulu, Shri P.Narsa Reddy, Shri K. R Amos, Prof. Gautham Pingali, Shri P.Nrasimha Reddy, Shri B.Kamalakar Rao, Shri A. Shyam Mohan, Shri S. Laxmi Narayana, Shri Mohd. Sirajuddin and others.

After presenting the primary paper by the chair,
Opening address, Prof. Gautham Pingali: Resignations of above 100 from 119 legislators of the region is unprecedented. Now the region came from sub-leadership status to leadership of its own. The national leadership is of North India based, the prioritization of our issues is still poor.

Delegate responses:
Seetha Ramulu, Khammam: In their district, only 50 percent. If any FIR like thing, first culprit is to be our own party.

S.Laxmi Narayana, Mahaboobnagar: Movement is in the hands of just students. Congress is in risk. We have to expedite to save our party.

Jagan Lal, Nalgonda: Youth Congress forces are still facing problem in convincing their associates.

Prakash Goud, INTUC, Rangareddy district: total worker force is in the forefront of the movement.

Krishna Mohan Rao, Karimnagar: When we fought in 2009 general elections, our gap is very less though we lost. But in bye-elections our party’s deposits lost. This conveys the gap and strength of the demand.

Rajaratnam, Old City, Hyderabad: leadership some times creating hopes and at other times, behaving strangely. Are their assurances false?

Vijayasimha Reddy, Malakpet, Hyderabad: Our leaders are stalling our prospects. We have to be with our people.

Laxmi Naik, ST dept, Ranga reddy District: now delay tactics are going on.

Venkat Reddy, Panchayathraj Abhiyan, Warangal: We have to go and be with people.

Ali Pasha, Hyderabad: we are being deceived by our own people.

Yadaiah, Rangareddy district: if we differ the decision of December 9, 2009 decision, lot of problem to us.

Venu, Kukatpalli, Hyderabad: Even in places like Kukatpally, movement is very deep and thousands are working actively for this.

Laxmipathi Goud, Rangareddy district: Congress cadres shall come forward in the movement.

Chandrasekhar, NFC Employees Rep.: All worker force is behind the movement and will not stop still the statehood attained.

Prof. Raji Reddy, Cess: As claimed by representatives of Coastal-Seema, they did not develop any thing. Every where, it is happening as happened in our region. Our revenues were continuously diverted and our development is possible just by ourselves. Do not get into their trap.

K. V. Keshavulu, Veteran Freedom Fighter: In 1953 AICC Session, in the presence of Pandit Nehru, serious debate to keep erstwhile Hyderabad state in tact occurred. Now, those who came from other parts and living here shall express their urge for separate statehood. There shall be such situation that shall reach High command, that workers are quitting the organization and called for a unified Committee headed by MSR.

Mohd. Sirajuddin: Loss from Andhra occupation is more to Muslims. They are tenants and behave like tenants and shall not teach us what to do.

K R Amos: Be active to Mandal level. Hyderabad city was having 5 lakh acres at the time of merger where as now, there is not even, 50 thousands acres.

P. Vishunwardhan Reddy: In my constituency, ther are 35 percent settlers. I will stand for their safety and we need statehood. Even now, in Maharatsra Gujaratis are top in the business.

Dr Gopal Kishan: We are at cross roads. Since 1969 till now, no leader will give us. We have to take. Our only aim is Telangana.

Shyam Mohan: There is no humanity. Village, mandal and constituency level and our state level worker conventions shall be organized. National level media interface is direly needed. Shall approach International Human Rights agencies for violation.

Rama Rao, Ex MLA, Jaggaiahpet, Krishna district: If we ignore Telangana urge, Congress will ruin. Now, in Tamilnadu, 43 Telugus were MLAs. No problem with separation and will be good for all.

P. Narasimha Reddy: Shall fight unitedly.

Palavi Govardhan Reddy: Let us go to people now.

Dr Shankar: They were not sincere even then. We shall have last laugh.

T. Rajeswar, Hyderabad: Let us do further.

P. Narsa Reddy: Message of resignations reached the national attention. Public Opinion is most important. Indira ji used to tell: I am with people and care their word a lot. Individuals do not matter.

G. Niranjan: Ours is Congress and we breathe Congress air but we want Telangana. Leadership gap is heavy in Telangana. Leaders shall first go to workers and people.

Rapolu Ananda Bhaskar: presidential remarks. In two days, will work out action plan. It is now or never and ours is do or die situation. Total Telangana Public Representative institutions in resignation, which is unprecedented in the global democratic history. Please respect the urge, recall your commitments and expeditiously separate Telangana.

M. Satyanarayana Rao: Sonia ji personally assured to give Telangana. The persons around her, it seems, misleading her. Other wise, she will not forget her word. I am one with you. Prepare cadres and leaders will follow.

Session concluded at 3.50PM then HAD LUNCH.

ACTION SESSION ON WAY FORWARD

SONIA ji, SHOW FURTHER WAY FORWARD TO SEPARATE TELANGANA! JAI TELANGANA!!

TELANGANA CONGRESS MONITORING GROUP
JANUARY 7, 2011 RESOLUTION

The report of CCSAP headed by famous jurist spread confusion, chaos and led to unnecessary complications.
The utter disregard of the unprecedented mammoth mass movement in each and every human habitation across the six decade long awaiting land and continuing sacrifices by above 500 students and youth by the committee is unpardonable.
The committee’s over enthusiasm in recording platonic ideas is highlighting the futility of such committees.
However, sensing the vehement rejection, Union Home Minister in his letter of December 30 and in the opening remarks in the January 6 meeting of Eight Political parties, repeatedly stressed the need of WAY FORWARD.
This meeting of TELANGANA CONGRESS MONITORING GROUP reiterates its continued demand for curving out separate state of Telangana, reflecting the psyche, sentiments and deep desire for their self rule and respectable human development of four crore people of this land.
1. At this commotion filled juncture, not to hurt much the already deeply wounded sentiments and speedily raising emotions of four crore people of Telangana, this meeting of TELANGANA CONGRESS MONITORING GROUP, after understanding all the niceties of the clever and vagueness of the report of CCSAP in its entirety of 505 pages of Volume 1 and 183 pages of Volume 2 along with 6page summary and 1page note of Home Minister, humbly urges Shrimathi SONIA GANDHI ji, Hon. Congress President to be decisive and swift in further way forward including the measure of persuasion of other regions so as to save Congress and ensure peace in this land.
2. This meeting of TELANGANA CONGRESS MONITORING GROUP urges the Union Government, Planning Commission, Central Water Commission and state Government, not to precipitate the river water distribution complications till the separation takes place, the justifiable share is allotted to Telangana.
3. This meeting of TELANGANA CONGRESS MONITORING GROUP takes note of the pessimistic attitude of state Government and condemns its treatment of the democratic urge and movement as law and order problem and this land as disturbed area.
4. This meeting of TELANGANA CONGRESS MONITORING GROUP calls upon all the workers and leaders of Congress party to be devoutly with the people of this land in their heightened struggle in Gandhian way of non -cooperation and civil disobedience patterns to realize separate statehood of Telangana.
5. This meeting of TELANGANA CONGRESS MONITORING GROUP urges the students and youth to be in the movement and not to end their lives.
